The F1 Focus operates solely on frequency 457 kHz. This more powerful frequency not only offers greater range than the old frequency 2.275 kHz but can be amplified without oscillation problems. This enables the F1 to operate with a distinct loudspeaker as well as a three light visual indicator. Operation range up to 70 meters. The tough ergonomic case is water resistant. Accepts optional earphone. Two 1.5 volt Alkali-Mangan batteries last approximately 250 hours. Weight: 9.8 oz.
