Trango Captain Hook Ice Axe

The Captain Hook features an investment-cast stainless head that accepts Trango's WaffleHammer or Fighting Adze, and picks that are ready for hard climbing. The droop is right for swinging and hooking, the teeth have the right side-bevel for easy removal, and the last tooth has that nasty hook on it that will let you crank off a tiny little drool of ice. Captain Hook comes with a choice of the Clearance Shaft (right-side photo above) or Bent Shaft (left-side photo above) with a sticky platform grip, or a Straight Shaft with a Bulb Grip. Comes complete with the Gripper Wrist Leash.
