A traditional ice axe with an ergonomic head; ideal for back country walks and any kind of climb of classic difficulty in mountain terrain. As well as a better grip, the ergonomic mould gives added insulation between the hand of the alpinist and the forged head of the ice axe. This head is forged steel in one piece and has been designed to grip well in the ice for easy climbing and ice axe arrest techniques. The balance of the axe is excellent. Available in 53, 58, 66, 74, and 82 cm lengths.
