DMM Bulldog Ice Hook

Manufactured from super-tough nickel chrome moly steel, the Bulldog was primarily developed to give skyhook-style protection on ice too thin to accept a conventional screw, though it can also be placed into iced-up cracks or used as a rock peg. Serrated and reversed teeth around the inner profile provide the Bulldog with a positive grip whilst its innovative shape ensures that the load is kept close to the surface of the ice, thus minimizing outward leverage. Leverage may be further reduced by looping the integral 19mm stitched sling over the top to act as a tie-off. Remember that the Bulldog also serves as a vital spare emergency hand tool if you drop or break an axe. For those who take their ice climbing seriously, the Bulldog leads the way ahead!  Breaking strength: 25kN.  Weighs 5.7oz (162g).
