Integral Designs Salathe Bivy Sack

John Salathe started climbing at the age of 45. Two years later he and Anton Nelson pioneered Yosemite style climbing by doing the first base to summit ascent of Lost Arrow Spire, with four nights of bivys. The Salathe is Integral Designs' most versatile and technical bivy. Loaded with features which make it suitable for both summer and winter use. Use it for lying down in horizontal comfort or for sitting up on that tiny ledge cooking a meal while staying cocooned, dry and tied in. Features Integral Designs' Trilaminate Tegraltex waterproof/breathable fabric on the body and foot of the bivy, with a heavy-duty coated nylon floor. 32" long zippers on both sides (with storm flaps), wire stiffened hood brim to keep fabric off face, and opening and body covered by zippered no-see-um netting screen.
